This Deed this 31st. day of January 1901, between Cora V. Moler and Adam Moler her husband, Marth R. Link and William H. Link, her husband, John W. Daniels and Anna B. Daniels, his wife, John G. Flanagan and Bertha S. Flanagan, his wife, James S. Flanagan, who is unmarried, Laure F. Moler (widow) Mary F. Licklider and John C. Licklider her husband and Alice L. Hopper and Asbury B. Hopper her husband, of the first part and the Washington Building and Lime Company, a corportation, of West Virginia, of the second part;
Witnesseth: that the parties of thefirst part in consideration of ten hundred and eighty three and 93/100 dollars ($1083.93) cash in hand said to the said Cora V. Moler and the said Martha Link, of the parties of the first part, by the said Washington Building Lime Co. do grant, with general warranty, unto the said Washington Building Lime Company, two certain lots or parcels of land, situate and lyinging in the County of Jefferson, West Virginia, near the village of Bakerton, containing together thirty six acres and twenty one square perches, (36 A or 21p) and which, according to a survey made by James K. Hendericks surveyor of said County, are bounded as follows: No 1, Beginning at a small locust tree, corner to John G. Flannagan and the recent purchased (from Dennis M. Daniels and others) of the Washington Building Lime Company (fig 1 in plat) thence N. 18 20 E. 61.13 poles to a stone, corner (fig 20 to W. J. Knott, thence with Knott’s line N. 12 15 W. 18 poles, to a stake (fig 3) corner to W. J. Knott in A. S. Reynolds’ line, thence in Reynolds’ line S. 57 50 W, 37.3 poles to a stone (fig. 4) corner to A.S. Reynolds, thence S. 86 10 W. 60 poles to a stone (fig 5) thence again with Reynolds and Robert Jones, S 3 40 E. 9.3 poles, to a fence post, corner (fig 6) thence, S 50 16 N. 87 poles to the beginning, containing twenty one Acres and Thirty two preches (21 a 0 F & 32 p.)
No 2 Beginning at a stake in Robert Jones; line (fig.1. in plat) thence, S 62 15 E, 18 poles to a walnut tree (fig 2) thence S.44.45 E, 40 .8 poles to a large white oak tree, thence N 3 40 W, 74.2 poles, to the beginning, containing fourteen acres three roods and twenty nine perches (14a. 3r. 20p.) a plat of the said parcels, made by James K. Hendricks, surveyor of said county, is hereto attached and made part of this deed. The said two parcels are part of a tract of 120 a. 2r. and 18 p. which, by a report of comissioners appointed by the late County, Court of Jefferson, Virginia, ‘(dated July 21 1856 and recorded in of Office of the Clerk of said County Court in Deed Book 36 at page 6) were assigned in Dower to Martha Flanagan, widow of William Flanagan (the said “Lot No 2 ” being the parcel described in said report) and doress as 16[?] and which at the death of said widow, passed to the possession of the heirs at law of said William Flanagan, to-wit: the said parties of the first part, Cora V. Moler, Martha R. Link, and John W. Daniels (children of said William Flanagans deceased daughter Ann Rebecca wife of Dennis M. Daniels) and John G. Flanagan, Laura L. Moler, Mary F. Licklider and Alice L. Hopper (children of his deceased son, James Flanagan) jointly. By agreement between the said joint owners, and heirs at law of said William Flanagan, made soon after the death of said widow and dowress (in the year 1870) which was fully executed, but was not recorded, partition of the said dower land was made by said joint owners among themselves and the two parcels hereby conveyed were assigned jointly, to the said Cora V. Moler and Martha R. Link, parties of the first part, hereto, and the said Cora V. Moler and Martha R. Link were placed in actual possession (as were the other parties in possession of the several tracts assigned them) accordingly. As evidence of such partition and assignment, and for the purpose of conveying whatever title, legal or equitable, maay remain in them; all of the said parties of the first part have united in the execution of this deed and grant.

I, Lee H. Moler a Justice of the Peace, within and for the county aforesaid, in the state of West Virginia, do certify that Cora V. Moler and Adam C. Moler her husband, Martha R. Link and William H. Link her husband, John W. Daniels and Anna B. Daniels his wife, John G. Flanagan and Bertha S. Flanagan his wife, James S. Flanagan, Laura F. Moler, Mary F. Licklider and John C. Licklider her husband and Alice L. Hopper and Asbury B. Hopper her husband, whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed, bearing date on the 31st day of January 1901, have, this day, acknowledged the same before me in my said county.

This Deed of Bargain and Sale dated January 31st. 1901, from Cora V. Moler and others to Wash. Building Lime. Co. for Real Estate produced in this office and duly admitted to record, at 11 A.M.
