October 24, 2025Wm. A. Stephenson, a native of Ireland, this day applied to the Court to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States, whereupon the said Wm. A. Stephenson, produced satisfactory evidence to them that he arrived in the United States more than five years previous to the date hereof — The Court being satisfied that since the arrival of the said W. A. Stephenson as aforesaid he has constantly resided within the U.S. and in this State, and during that time has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the U.S. and well disposed to the good order and happenings of the same, he, the said Wm. A. Stephenson declared on oath in open Court that he will support the constitution of the United States and that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Wm the IV King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. And thereupon the said Wm. A. Stephenson is admitted a citizen of the said United States the court being satisfied that he has complied with the requisitions of the law.
