October 24, 2025William Walsh, a native of Ireland, appeared in the County Court of Jefferson, in the State of Virginia, and declared on oath, that it is bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, or Power, and particularly to Victoria the 1st Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and further declared on oath that such has been his intention for more than three years immediately preceding this time — he further proved to the satisfaction of the Court that he is upwards of twenty one years of age, and that he migrated to the United States and resided in the United States more than three years next preceding his arriving at the age of twenty one years, and that he has continued to reside in the United States from the time of his said migration up to the present time, and more than five years in the United States– it was further proved by the oaths of James Duncansen and Richard D. Doran, Citizens of the United States, who were examined as witnesses, to the satisfaction of the Court, that during that time he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happenings of the same, and thereupon the aid William Walsh declared on oath that he doth absolutely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, or Power, and particularly to Victoria the 1st Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland; and thereupon the said William Walsh is admitted a Citizen of the United States; the Court being satisfied that the said William Walsh has complied with all the requirements of Law in regard to naturalization.
