TO THE SHERIFF OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, GREETING:
We command you that you summon Wm. Flanigan
to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court of Jefferson County, at the Court House of said County on the 14th day of this month to appear an indictment found against him by the grand Jury of said county at October Term 1868 for sla[?] misdemeanor
and have then there this writ. Witness, WILLIAM A. CHAPLINE, Clerk of our said Court, at the Court House, the 2nd day of December, 1868, and in the Sixth year of our Foundation.
Geo. W. Moler and Robert Seat summoned to testify.

To the Sheriff of Jefferson County: You are hereby commanded to serve a Rule upon George W. Moler, Robert Seant, to appear before the Circuit Court on the day of this month as witnesses on behalf of the State of West Va. vs Wm. Flanigan to show cause why they should not be attached for their said Contempt for not answering the summons in above case, and have then and there this rule, Witness Wm. A. Chapline Clerk of our Circuit Court on this 15th day of December 1869.
