Jeremiah McGraw, a native of Ireland, 25 years of age, applied to be admitted a citizen of U.S. and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that he arrived in the United States more than three years before he was 21 years of age and that since his arrival he has constantly resided in the U.S. and in this State more than one year, and that during that time he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same, and that for more than two years it has been his intention to become a citizen of the United States. The said Jeremiah McGraw declared on oath in open court that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty, whatever, and particularly to Victoria I Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, and also that he will support the Constitution of the United States, and that he absolutely and entirely renounces and abjures all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty and particularly to Victoria queen of Great Britain and Ireland. And thereupon the said Jeremiah McGraw is admitted a citizen of the United States, having complied with the requisitions of the act of Congress of the United States on the [?] of naturalization.
