The County Court last week granted license to retail spirituous liquors to John S. Easterday, Thomas Elliott, Geo. A. Mock, F. B. Souders, Geo. W. Thomas, James A. Thomas and M. J. Kain, in Charlestown; Thomas J. Burley, T. M. Conner, Charles J. Drew, John W. Doll, James Conway and James McGraw, in Harper’s Ferry; and to Geo. L. Weber, in Bolivar, to retail malt liquors, native wines, &c.
The resignation of Mr. Lewis Dinkle, as sealer of weights and measures, was received and accepted.
Messrs. W. N. Wood, Geo. T. Light and C. T. Mitchell qualified as notaries public.
Harry B. Middlekauff was granted permission to erect a harness shop on the rear of the court-house lot, same to revert to the county at the expiration of twenty-three years.
