By virtue of a Trust Deed executed by Oliver Sherman and Jas. H. L. Hunter and Mary E. his wife, to Joseph S. Bragonier, trustee, bearing date the 29th day of August, 1874, and recorded in Deed Book “B”, page 277, in the Clerk’s Office of the County Court of Jefferson County, West Virginia, to secure the payment to Samuel B. Harrison, of the Bonds executed by the said Oliver Sherman and Jas. H. L. Hunter for the whole purchase money of the land conveyed in said Deed of trust, all of which Bonds and interest now due, four in all of $500,00 each, are unpaid and have been assigned by the said Samuel B. Harrison, the undersigned, Trustee, as aforesaid, at request, for the purpose of paying said Bonds, in the order provided for in said Deed of Trust, will sell at public sale,
On Saturday, August 18, 1877
at 2 o’clock P.M., in front of the Entler Hotel, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, a very DESIRABLE LOT, of about
SIX ACRES OF LAND,
the exact amount will be ascertained by survey, situated near the Corporation limits of said town, on the east side of the Scrabble road, and adjoining the property purchased by the Jefferson Savings Bank of G. M. Beltzhoover. Trustee, on the South; the lands of W. T. Lemen, on the North; and the heirs of Geo. McBee, deceased, on the East, it being the remaining part of the 17 acres of land and buildings, having been sold to said Bank and to John R. Ray, to satisfy prior liens to aforesaid Deed of Trust. The boundary of said land can be shown by calling on the undersigned. The present growing crop reserved.
TERMS OF SALE. — One-third cash on the day of sale, and the balance of purchase money in two equal payments payable in one and two years respectively with interest from day of sale, the deferred payments to be secured by a deed of trust on the land; or the whole of the purchase money cash on the day of sale at the option of the purchaser.
