Frances Riesley Bride in Ohio of Cadet Jones
Wedding Ceremony In Cincinnati Last Evening
The marriage of Miss Frances Lee Riesley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Riesley of Twin Springs, Vienna, Va., to Aviation Cadet Richard William Jones of Cincinnati, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jenkin W. Jones of Takoma Park, took place last evening in Cincinnati in the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Riesley accompanied their daughter to Cincinnati for the wedding and Mr. Riesley gave his daughter in marriage. The Rev. Edward W. Stimson officiated at 7:30 o’clock in the evening, and the bride was attended by Miss Keith Fitchette of Hampton, Va., as maid of honor. Mr. Philip Cardon of Washington served as best man.
The bride attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg and is a student at the University of Maryland. She will remain in Cincinnati until June 20 and will then return to Virginia and make her home with her parents.
Cadet Jones attended the University of Maryland before entering the service and is a member of Alpha Tau Omega and Alpha Zeta.
The wedding and reception was attended by a number of guests including Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Neal and Mr. and Mrs. Garland Moore of Troy, Ohio; Miss Elizabeth Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mack, Miss Marjorie Mack and Mr. Lee Hoffman of Dayton, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Riesley and Miss Charme Riesley of Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. La Vern Clapp of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Mrs. H. R. Mytinger and Miss Rita Thorn of Washington.
