Arthur G. Homer of 632 Massachusetts avenue northwest was named as a defendant in the Police Court today on a charge of embezzlement. He waived a preliminary hearing and was held by Judge Scott under $300 bonds to await action by the grand jury.
Homer was recently employed by G. R. Brown of 900 14th street northwest, and is accused of appropriating $3.32 of his employer’s money.
Cecil O. S. Gallant of 1521 8th street northwest, who was also in the employ of Brown, was named as a defendant on a similar charge of being $2.50 short in his accounts. Hearing of his case was postponed until March 1. Both of the men are at liberty under bond.
