Mr. Wm. H. Hunter, of Toronto, Clinton county, Iowa, is visiting his relatives in this vicinity, after an absence of almost a third of a century. Mr. Hunter, who is a brother of Mrs. Margaret Caton, east of town, was born and raised in the Moler’s Cross Roads neighborhood. He served in Company F, First Virginia Cavalry, during the Civil War, and has been finding much pleausre in meeting his old comrades. Mr. Hunter left here thirty years ago, and this is his first visit to his old home in that time. Most of his old friends have passed away in the generation that he has been in the West.
