Charles Swope, who has been working in the clearing of the Messrs. Turner, west of town, found a bee tree a few days ago, and when it was cut down it yielded about a hundred pounds of honey. Three tubs were filled with the sweet stuff, and Mr. Swope and his friends have been living high.
