December 21, 2025The Washington Building Lime Company has added two small parcels of real estate to its holdings at Bakerton by purchase. One parcel containing one acre was bought of Hattie Moler and others; the other containing about the same area was bought of Tilmond Carter, Guardian of Strorther and Geo. W. Moler. Deeds for the foregoing have been filed for record along with the following: C. D. Carter and P. S. Millard to David Roy Hoffmaster, lot 2 in block C., at Bakerton; Frank Beckwith, Trustee, to Edward Newman, house and lot at Mt. Pleasant, near Summit Point, for $200; Annie L. Banks and Mary R. Needy to M. K. Hendricks and Charles M. Hendricks, 80 acres on the Potomac river, three miles east of Shepherdstown, consideration $2700; Sarah Hopkins, widow of William Hopkins, to Perry T. Dunn, two lots on Washington Heights, near Charles Town, for $300.
