Physicians Sick; Unable To Care For Patients

Dr. S. T. Knott, of the vicinity of Molers’ Cross Roads’ has been sick in bed the past week and was unable to answer the many calls for his services. Dr. C. C. Johnson and his wife, of Duffields, have both been quite sick with the prevailing influenza, but are now improving. Both of these physicians practice in the northeastern section of the county and in the Bakerton neighborhood, and their inability to give medical attention to their patients has made the situation in that section distressing. Dr. Geo. W. Banks, having returned from Hinton, is now making calls in that neighborhood, and conditions are more satisfactory. There was great anxiety among the people for a time.
