On Sunday last, Mr. Peter Conlan, merchant, of this place. Mr. C. was a native of Ireland, but resided in this country for the last four or five years, and had taken the necessary steps to become naturalized. Honesty, probity, and a nice sense of honor, were distinguishing traits in his character, and the rectitude of his conduct secured to him the esteem and good will of all who had intercourse with him. His remains were conveyed to Fredericktown, and interred in the Catholic cemetery at that place.
