On Thursday last, Miss Elizabeth M’Clure, of this place.
On Saturday, Mrs. Leannah Butts, wife of Mr. John Butts.
On Thursday the 26th ult. at his residence in Shepherdstown, Captain JOHN PIERCE, in the 78th year of his age. He was one of the few remaining soldiers of the Revolutionary War, and was captured at Quebec, at the time of Montgomery’s fall.– He sustained through life an unimpeachable character.
On Friday, John Francis, infant son of Mr. Wm. Sappington.
On Saturday, Rebecca, infant daughter of Mr. C. H. Mills.
On the same day, John, aged 12, son of the late Mr. Caspar Creamer, of this place.
On Monday evening, aged about 30, Mr. John Garry, a native of Ireland, but for some months a resident of this place.
