School Entertainment. — A correspondent sends us the following item: Oak Grove School, conducted by Mr. Jesse A. Engle, near Zion Church, gave an entertainment at its close last Saturday a week. Speeches were made by Messrs. Shadia Engle and Jacob Moler, and essays read by Misses Maggie M. Moler and Jennie Cockrell, which were very creditable indeed. Declamations by Harry A Moler, Noble Moler, Wm. Engle, Walter Duke, Willie Peacher, Willie Flanagan, May Cockrell, Nora E. Engle, Martha Flanagan, Nannie Flanagan, Maggie Flanagan, Bessie Flanagan and Mary A. Moler. The teacher read a list of those who deserved mention for hard study, after which all sat down to a feast of cakes, candies, lemonade, &c., prepared by parents and friends. A large crowd was present, and went home much pleased with this embryo commencement.
