Huge Structure Will Be Used By Baltimore and Ohio at Bakerton.
Superintendent Z. T. Brantner, of the Baltimore and Ohio shops, has just completed the work of shipping the big iron bridge that has been standing in the yard here for the past year, and the huge structure will be placed over a stream near Bakerton, on the Pittsburgh division. The job was no small one, as the bridge is 106 feet in length, and the total weight is about 200 tons. It required three flat cars to haul each side of the bridge, and three additional cars were used to carry the girders and other necessary iron-work. The bridge will be placed in position immediately. A force of about a dozen men worked several days on the job of getting the bridge on the cars.
