July 31, 201816 Men Ready for Emergency Entrainment
July 31, 2018Preston S. Millard, the Bakerton merchant who was burned out a couple of months ago, and who has since been doing business in the hall in that village, has bought out Amos R. Kibler, who had the only other store in Bakerton, and will move his stock of goods into the Kibler store building. The Washington Building Lime Company will erect a substantial new brick store building of considerable size for Mr. Millard on the site of the burned structure, and the cellar is now being excavated preparatory to laying the foundation. It will be a decided improvement to Bakerton as well as a modern home for Mr. Millard’s extensive business.
