With further reference to the roads, the “hog wallow,” miscalled the road between Bakerton and Duffields, is in truly deplorable condition. This road reminds us of the train service on the old Frog Hollow branch. It was called the tri-weekly train, the idea being that you went one way one week and tried to get back the next. The Duffields end of it gives one the impression that the road is being prepared for the spring corn crop.
