Dear Sir:-
We write to advise you that under revised Selective Service Regulations effective November 15,1945, and just received at this office, you as a High School student, are entitled to ask for postponement of your pre-induction physical examination until after your graduation or until you cease to pursue your course of study in a satisfactory manner, if you so desire. If this postponement is desired, you are required to write a letter to the Local Draft Board, stating the facts in the case, and asking for such postponement, which letter mut be certified by the Principal of your school. As the preinduction orders for the December Call will be issued shortly, we urge you to prepare this letter immediately, if such postponement is desired, as the Board must have your letter in hand before they can take action in your case.
