CHARLES TOWN, W. Va. — Authorization of expenses incurred by the special school bond election Tuesday and funds for remodeling the Page Jackson school building were voted Wednesday night by the Jefferson County School Board.
The school will be adpated to make it usable for fifth and sixth grades in the area.
In other action the board adopted a tentative school calendar for the 1966-67 school year.
Mrs. Irma Patrick, principal of Eagle Ave. School and Richard Adams, principal of Wright Denny School, were authorized to plan a program for grades one through six for areas now serviced by their schools.
Two new appointments were made including Miss Mary Elizabeth Wysong as librarian for Charles Town Junior High and Miss Katherine Bartholow as a teacher at Charles Town Senior High.
