Alliance Meeting at Moler’s

There was a very interesting meeting of Moler’s Alliance at Moler’s Cross Roads last Friday, the occasion being a dinner given by the Alliance to visiting brethren and friends. The ladies of that section are famous for their big dinners, and this one was no exception. All the seasonable substantials and delicacies were provided in the usual abundance, and the large crowd enjoyed the repeat greatly. After dinner, President J. M. Hendricks called the meeting to order, and Col. W. A. Morgan made a speech of welcome. Then Hon. C. T. Butler was called upon for an address, and responded in a very earnest talk to the farmers, holding their closest attention for a half hour or more. Taken all in all, the meeting was a thoroughly enjoyable as well as a beneficial one, and we are sure that the Moler’s Alliance will continue to grow in popularity as long as it is the means of combining pleasure and profit so admirably. The order is very strong there, and has in its membership most of the prominent farmers of that section.
