One of the most interesting reports given this morning at the session of the Baltimore conference was that of the Rev. Ernest W. Aaron, a preacher of the third year and licensed to preach from Greene Memorial charge. He is now stationed at Shenandoah Junction and Bakerton. The work accomplished on the charge is regarded by members of the conference as worthy of special mention, and his presiding elder called upon him to make a special report. At Bakerton, Mr. Aaron built a new church at a cost of $6,000, with a modern Sunday school equipment. He had sixty-five conversions and organized a new church at Hall-Town, near Bakerton. The collections of the charge were all reported as paid in full, something that has not occurred for years, and the pastor’s salary was over paid to the extent of $100. The total amount raised on the charge was $7,854. This is Mr. Aaron’s third year as pastor of that charge, during which time he has completed all the studies required and advanced in regular order.
