Earlton, Bedford County, Pa.,
June 5th, 1911.
Mr. Jno. T. Colston, Chairman Jefferson County No-License Committee.
Charles Town, W. Va.
Dear Sir:– Our attention has been called to the matter of no license in Jefferson county and I wish to advise you that we are employers of labor in Jefferson county operating the Virginia Ore Bank near Bakerton and you have our hearty co-operation in the movement.
I should like to see every saloon in the country close up. I believe it would be for the benefit of the laboring classes.
We have no license in this Bedford Co. Penn. and are getting along very well without any saloons.
You have our best wishes and co-operation in the movement and hope you may be successful.
Very truly yours.
GEO. W. HUGHES,
General Superintendent.
