Cholera among Laborers in Washington Co., MD.
June 11, 2026Two deaths have occurred by Cholera at Halltown, since our last paper. We have heard of no new cases. Charlestown is entirely free of the disease, and very little sickness of any sort prevails. A few cases of cholera have occurred at Smithfield, in this county, but we have heard of none lately. Shepherdstown and Harpers-Ferry continue unusually healthy. Some deaths by cholera have occurred along the line of the Canal, in Maryland, within the last week.
